There is an old saying, “health is wealth.” You all know what that means. So, it is our most important duty to keep our bodies healthy. We can do that by taking some important measures which will lead us to good health; those measures are:
Healthy Diet

Our body is the result of what we eat today. I mean to say, for better functioning, our body needs nutrients, minerals, vitamins, and energy, which our body can’t generate on its own like plants. So, we have to get those from the outer source. So, it is crucial for us to consume other things that have those nutrients, and we call those things food or diet what we like. Now, all foods are not beneficial for us, like added sugar, red meat, excess salt, etc. That’s why we must choose a good diet that has nutrients and minerals that can benefit our health instead of destroying it.
Fruits and Vegetables

I already mentioned that a good diet is the foremost important key factor for good health. In the list of good diets, fruits and vegetables have a high place that all doctors and nutritionists recommend. That is because fruits and vegetables contain almost all sorts of nutrients, minerals, fibre, and other crucial compounds. Besides, many studies have been conducted on our body and the effects of consuming fruits and vegetables that show these things kill harmful bacteria and keep our body from diseases-free.
Salt and Sugar

I completely avoid sugar and salt for many issues. Now, let me tell you why you should do the same.
Our body needs Sodium, and we all get that from salt. But too much sodium increases the risk of high blood pressure. So, if we consume too much salt, then it will lead to high blood pressure will also lead to heart disease and stroke. So, we should consume salt 5g per day, not more than that.
On the other hand, sugar has its own disadvantages. Too much sugar is responsible for tooth decay, sudden weight gain, fat, and diseases like diabetes and more. However, if we consume too much sugar, it will lead us to weight gain, which will be responsible for many diseases. So, we should avoid sugar as much as possible; 50 g per day in total energy intake would be better. And, if you also can reduce sugar intake by 5%, then you will get additional health benefits.
Fats and Trans Fats
Nowadays, nobody considers what they are eating. If it smells good and tastes good, then they put that in their mouth without knowing whether it’s good or bad for their health. Fat is also one of them. People consume fats because they are too tasty and pay the price later for their fat eating habits. Now, I also like foods that contain fat. But I only consume unsaturated fat like fish, avocado, and nuts. These are healthy for the body. On the other hand, saturated fats and trans fats are healthy. That’s why WHO advice reducing saturated fat intake by 10% and trans fat intake by 1% to reduce health risks. Or completely switch to unsaturated fats.
